Headquarters System Administrator Editing a User

 

Overview

The purpose of the System Administration module is to facilitate management of system areas such as User Administration, Role Administration, Government Contacts Maintenance, Reference Table Maintenance, Viewing of Logs, Utilities and News and Alerts.  Only authorized ICIS System Administrators will have access to this functionality.

 

This screen allows the Headquarters System Administrator to edit a User’s information.

User ID

This is the user ID of the person being granted access to the system.

Data Access Level

HQ

This designates a user as an EPA Headquarters Level User.

Data Access Level

Region

This designates a user as an EPA Regional Level User. 

Data Access Level

State/Tribe

This designates a user as an EPA State/Tribe Level User. 

Data Access Level

LCON

This designates a user as an EPA Local Control (LCON) User.

Data Access Privileges

Sensitive Data Access

This is the flag indicating whether the user can access sensitive data.

User Status

Status, Active and Inactive

This is the flag indicating whether the record is active or inactive.

 

Note: If the User's Status has been changed, the associated Government Contact's Status is updated to match the User.

This is the given name of the user.

Middle Initial

This is the middle name or initial of an individual.

Last Name

This is the surname of the user.

Organization

This is the name of the organization to which the user belongs.

Office

This is the name of the office to which the user belongs.

Contact Information

Telephone Number

This is the telephone number of the user.  This field allows an entry of up to 15 characters and accepts numeric and special characters (i.e., space, period, left and right parenthesis, dash).

This is the fax number of the user.  This field allows an entry of up to 15 characters and accepts numeric and special characters (i.e., space, period, left and right parenthesis, dash).
